My favorite book that I read in class this year was the diary of ann frank book. it was my favorite because i liked talking about the consontration camps and what happened at that time. And my favorite independent reading book this year was one of the Nerds books. Thank u so much for putting up with me in class. haha.
Hey! I saw that this could be extra credit! You are one of my favorite teachers I have ever had! Have a good rest of the year! :)
So far this year my favorite book is Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie. Even though we have just started the book I've already read ahead. The book is very touching and does a phenomenal job of showing what a teenage eighth grade boy thinks and does when his little brother has been diagnosed with ALL leukemia cancer.
My favorite story we read in class was Red Midnight. This book was my favorite because it was a surprise at every chapter. My favorite ind.book was Ghost Town because it was interesting.
Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pies. I liked it because I learned the badness of leukemia. My favorite independent reading book was 8th Grade Bites. I liked it because it was very exciting.

When times seem too hard to bear and I feel like giving up
I vision your beautiful face, the twinkle of your eyes and things of such
The bond we created from my womb to the day you were born
Is a mother and daughter bind that can never be torn
With the strength and guidance of God and the blessings he pours down from above
I want to be the best mom I can be to you and embrace you with all my love
You are as precious as a flower and as gorgeous as a rose
You have been specially made to the very tip of your nose
You are as sweet as honey; such an innocent young child
You are brighter than any star in the sky every time you smile
I want you to be proud of who you are and strive to be the best
Put forth your efforts to achieve your goals and let God do the rest
I will always be your mother first, but I'm also your friend
Your are the most precious gift, that I've ever been given
With All My Love,
I am liking the drums, girls, and dangerous pie. It is an interesting book about a boy and what he goes through in life. I would reaf it again if i could
I would recommend gorillas in gilla park. It is a book about how a boy does something new over the summer. His parents get mad at him because if he doesnt go he will be bored all summer.
My favorite book we have read this year would be Srums, Girls, & Dangerous Pie. Even though my brothers don't have cancer, I can relate to this book. Because I can relate to it, I can help solve my own problems just by reading how the character in the book solves theirs.
If you liked the book Hoot by Carl Hiaason, you will definitely love the book Chomp. Chomp takes place in the Everglades in Florida, present-day. The main character, Wahoo (a teenage boy), lives with his father, Mickey, with a (sort-of) zoo surrounding their house. Wahoo begins to realize that life isn't perfect, so he begins to fix his problems. Throw a few animals in there, and you've got Chomp by Carl Hiasson- great book!
My favorite book was And Then There Were None because I love a good mystery and the ending was such an unexpected surprise. My mom read this when she was a kid and so we were able to discuss it.

Goodbye is not an ending when you know that people care,
though miles may come between you warm thoughts are always there.
Goodbye is not an ending but a different start for you,
a time for making brand new friends and seeing dreams come true.
Goodbye is not an ending for you'll find along life's way,
within your heart you'll always have a part of yesterday.
(This poem was given to me in a card by one of my friend's in Florida before I moved.)
